Poem: Just Thought You Ought To Know

There are always people there-but most never do a thing.
Every day, another wild bird never gets the chance to sing.
Each moment, cures and medicines vanish before our eyes.
And each second, another strong, tall tree, is cut down, and dies.
It's not about guilt, I just wanted your knowledge to grow.
This is what is happening, just thought you ought to know.

We each can make a difference, each in our own way
And we're getting closer to our goal every single day.
To help the Earth, the one thing that we really need to grow.
And everyone, you too, can help.
Just thought you ought to know.
